PURE IMAGINATION

Pine tar, engine oil and turpentine were typical preparations for damaged horse hooves up until the 1980s. After seeing these harsh chemicals cause more damage than good, a Ferrier of 20 years, Don Gregory, decided to search for a natural product free of harsh chemicals. After realizing that there was no such product on the market, Don decided he would invent a product to help the horses he cared for. Don’s search ended on the sheep pastures where he found lanolin, a natural oil produced by sheep’s wool. Without sheep ever being harmed, Don infused the lanolin with several other natural ingredients to form the revolutionary solution known as “Hoof-Alive.”

PURE INSPIRATION

Shortly after Hoof-Alive hit shelves, horse caretakers noticed that Hoof-Alive was not only helping horses but also helping their own hands become softer and nails grow stronger. Word spread and soon people were using Hoof-Alive on themselves. Don’s daughter Katie grew up helping her Father manufacture Hoof-Alive in Wyoming. After reading the letters from her Father’s customers, inspiration had struck. Katie knew that when she grew up she wanted to revolutionize the skin care industry by making a product for people with “Hoof-Alive” healing powers.

After several years researching the skin care industry and perfecting the “Hoof-Alive” formulation, Katie decided it was time to help people like her Father had previously helped horses.
